Really digging this hot sauce right now from Horsetooth Hot Sauce. Orange habanero, cantaloupe, and carrot is delicious, and a nod to Office Space in the name is a bonus.
"I'm very important. I have many orange-bound books and my apartment smells of rich mahogany." -Me, talking like Ron Burgundy.
But seriously, there must be some marketing science behind the use of orange for book covers. I own many and I'm kind of a big deal.
I decided to capture this lightning show with my Flip last night. Cool mother nature effects over Charlestown.
I’m pretty sure everyone has seen this drummer by now, but I was rummaging through some old bookmarks and I had to post this. It’s a good reminder that no matter what stage you’re playing on, if you bring the passion and mad skillz, you can’t lose. And I’m guessing Will Farrell will play this guy in his biopic. (Just start at the 1 minute mark if you are impatient.)
I’m a sucker for commencement speeches. I have often referred to the “we are the sum of our choices” mantra (Albert Camus, Wayne Dyer, etc.) in many of life’s situations. Jeff Bezos frames that ethos extremely well with a personal story and series of hypothetical forks in the road. Thanks Mr. Bezos!

This is excellent.
“If our young men miscarry in their first enterprises, they lose all heart. If the young merchant fails, men say he is ruined. If the finest genius studies at one of our colleges, and is not installed in an office within one year afterwards in the cities or suburbs of Boston or New York, it seems to his friends and to himself that he is right in being disheartened, and in complaining the rest of his life. A sturdy lad from New Hampshire or Vermont, who in turn tries all the professions, who teams it, farms it, peddles, keeps a school, preaches, edits a newspaper, goes to Congress, buys a township, and so forth, in successive years, and always, like a cat, falls on his feet, is worth a hundred of these city dolls. He walks abreast with his days, and feels no shame in not ‘studying a profession,’ for he does not postpone his life, but lives already. He has not one chance, but a hundred chances.”—
Ralph Waldo Emerson, Self-Reliance
Does this Dieter Rahms-designed German transistor radio remind you of anything? It was the inspiration behind the first four generations of iPods, which were designed by Jonathan Ive.
